The bird series; fun, sardonic, sassy, all-knowing, disappointed in the human condition - been there, done that. Nell feels like all these words reflect the attitudes portrayed in her bird series. These animals represent some harsh realities of everyday life. Cynical or disillusioned, they live the façade of a good life while doing ordinary human things.
